Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 24, 2026 • Last updated: August 2026
1. Our Privacy Commitment
At BuckBuck Studio, your privacy is fundamental. We believe your prompts, source code, data analysis, and intellectual property belong exclusively to you. We do not sell, rent, monetize, or track your personal information for third-party advertising.
2. Information We Process
Depending on your usage mode, the following data is processed:
- Account Information: When signing in with Google Authentication, we securely retrieve your display name, email address, and avatar URL to manage your user profile.
- Conversation Data: Chats and code snippets are stored either locally in your browser (via
localStorage) or securely synchronized to your private Google Cloud Firestore collection under your authenticated User ID. - Backend Credentials: Your self-hosted Google Colab backend URL and API access key are stored strictly within your local browser storage and never routed through any central telemetry proxy.
3. Local & Private Model Execution
When executing inference against your private Colab GPU or local server, prompts and code payloads are transmitted directly between your web client and your self-hosted backend tunnel. They are not recorded, intercepted, or used for model training by BuckBuck Studio.
4. Data Storage & Security
We utilize Google Firebase industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS 1.3) and at rest to secure your account credentials and synchronized sessions.
5. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You have full control over your data. You may delete individual chat sessions or clear your entire conversation history at any time directly through the sidebar interface or by clearing browser local storage.
6. Contact Us
